Your clinic sets the real terms — this calculator shows the common defaults.

Number of installments 6
Payment per installment $103.00
Total processing fees $18.00
One-time setup fee $25.00
Total out-of-pocket cost $1,243.00
How to read this These figures use the publicly stated VetBilling fee defaults ($25 setup, $3 per installment, 0% interest). Your actual clinic may require a different down payment or offer different plan lengths. The contract you sign at the clinic is the authoritative source. Use this as a planning tool, not a quote.

Reading the Numbers

Amount financed

This is the balance that VetBilling will draft from your bank account over the life of the plan, calculated as the invoice total minus your down payment.

Payment per installment

This is what you will see leave your account each period. It is the base installment (the financed amount divided by the number of installments) plus the $3 VetBilling processing fee.

Total processing fees

The sum of the $3 processing fee charged on every installment across the life of the plan. For biweekly cadences, this stacks faster than monthly on the same plan length.

Total out-of-pocket cost

The invoice total plus the setup fee plus the sum of all processing fees. Because the plan is interest-free, there is no APR line to add.
