Section 10 (Disclaimer of Warranties) and Section 11 (Limitation of Liability) limit our liability. Section 4 confirms that the Site does not provide financial, legal, tax, or veterinary advice. By using the Site you accept these Terms in full.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and VetBillingPayment.com ("we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the website at vetbillingpayment.com and all associated content, features, and functionality (collectively, the "Site").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for use by US adults who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state, whichever is higher). By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Nature of the Site
VetBillingPayment.com is an independent review and comparison website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by VetBilling, LLC, Scratchpay, Cherry Technologies, Synchrony Bank (CareCredit), Sunbit, or any veterinary clinic or payment platform mentioned on the Site.
VetBilling® is a trademark of its respective owner. All third-party trademarks on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes only.
4. Not Financial, Legal, Tax, or Veterinary Advice
Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or veterinary advice. We are not a lender, broker, credit repair organization, financial advisor, veterinarian, or law firm.
Before making any financial decision, you should consult a qualified professional and review the terms directly with the applicable lender, platform, or veterinary clinic. Before making any decision about your pet's medical care, consult a licensed veterinarian.
Fee amounts, down payment conventions, approval criteria, and plan terms described on the Site reflect our research as of the date each page was last updated and may differ at your clinic, with your lender, or at the time you apply.
5. Affiliate Disclosures
In accordance with FTC 16 CFR Part 255 (Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising):
- VetBillingPayment.com participates in affiliate marketing programs, including the APIdiamond affiliate network.
- When you click an outbound link marked as an advertiser link, submit a pre-qualification form on the apply page, or complete an action with a partner, we may receive compensation.
- Compensation does not affect the price you pay or the terms you receive.
- Compensation does not influence editorial content, product ratings, pros and cons listed, or alternatives recommended.
See our editorial policy for the full description of our independence standards.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and layout — is the property of VetBillingPayment.com or its licensors and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not modify or remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice. Any other use (including republication, redistribution, scraping for commercial purposes, or creation of derivative works) requires our prior written consent.
7. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
7.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Site to research VetBilling payment plans and alternatives for your personal pet care financing needs.
7.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

- Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract content without permission.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any form.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to submit the pre-qualification form.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site contains links to third-party websites, products, and services (including VetBilling, lender partners, veterinary clinics, review platforms such as Trustpilot, and others). We provide these links for convenience and informational purposes only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, or services, or for any transaction you enter into with a third party.
Your interactions with third parties, including any purchase or financial product application, are solely between you and that third party. You should review their terms and privacy policies independently.
9. User Submissions
If you submit information through our contact form, the pre-qualification form, or by email, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that information to respond to you, operate the Site, and comply with legal obligations. We will not publish your personally identifying information without your consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, security, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that content on the Site is current, accurate, or free of errors. Financial product terms, lender availability, approval criteria, and fees change frequently and may differ from information shown on the Site.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will VetBillingPayment.com, its editorial team, affiliates, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will our aggregate liability to you for any claim exceed one hundred US dollars ($100.00) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (whichever is greater). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liability limits; in those jurisdictions, the above limits apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VetBillingPayment.com, its editorial team, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party right including intellectual property or privacy rights, or (d) any information you submit through the Site.
13. DMCA / Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice." Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on the Site.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
We may terminate the accounts or access of repeat infringers.
14. Changes to the Site and These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Site.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VetBillingPayment.com is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from filing a complaint with a federal, state, or local consumer protection agency, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
16. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and editorial policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VetBillingPayment.com regarding use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
